Just a few old Halloween and fall pictures from the years past. It's always so fun to look at old pictures.

Cade's 1st Halloween!

Let me give you a little help!

Gracie was not a happy camper on this particular pumpkin patch visit....which explains her absence in the pictures. (2005)

Fieldtrip Friday!

Not the best dressed crew for a pumpkin patch picture but we do what we can! It had rained for like 2 weeks straight and this particular Friday it was clear and I was like 'we're going to the pumpkin patch NOW.' I look at this picture and cannot believe I have no one crawling through the pumpkins anymore. Oh...a little sad! They each picked out their pumpkin and the only requirement was that they had to be able to hold their own pumpkin to the car. I am a great multi-tasker but I cannot hold 3 large pumpkins! So, they did just that.

Today I took Cade on a fieldtrip with his preschool class to Cherry Place Farms. We had been before for a birthday party but kids (and adults) can never get too many hay rides….right! We also fed the chickens, cows, goats, and donkey. That donkey is too cute! Her name is Addie. We also took a trip through the corn maze which we had never done at a birthday party before so that was new!

Soccer Season

Soccer season has begun and it makes for a very busy Saturday morning. Unlike getting up for school the morning begins with a little extra sleep and then joyful kids as they put on their soccer gear....which takes forever w/ the LONG socks, shin guards, and cleats. Gracie and Cade are on the same team and Halle plays in the league up. Cade scored his first goal last week and he was very excited!!

Smile...It's Picture Day!

SMILE......again and again and again! We FINALLY had our pictures made and what a trip it was! My kids have grown up around the camera and they are not shy. I am sure they feel as though they are being followed by the paparazzi b/c they are forever posing for a picture. We can't help ourselves. I know it's aggravating at times but it is so much fun to look at pictures from years ago. It will be something we can always have to look at as we walk down memory lane!
The photographer was great and the kids loved her. Bless her heart she probably needed a glass of wine, OR a crown and coke after we got done w/ her. But, nevertheless everyone managed to stay happy!
Soccer has started and the kids are loving it. Pictures to come of course!

Momma's Heart

Wow, what a day! I was excited and shocked at the same time. Could it be…another Wilson. But, I am sure glad it was….a baby boy. John Cade Wilson…aka…’Cade.’ This boy was the typical 3rd child as some would say. You never knew he existed. For the first 3 months he would sit in his swing or bouncy seat and just watch. As long as you fed him, changed him, and gave him a little pat he was as happy as can be. Now never mind he didn’t walk til he was 18 months. I even had him in physical therapy. The therapist was like go home and watch….he has no need to walk. And sure enough she was right. He would sit in the floor and he never needed a thing. He could watch the girls for entertainment and it was amazing to watch them just give him stuff as they’d walk by. He had no interest in going anywhere. Of course he was up and RUNNING in no time and he hasn’t slowed down since. We were a little concerned at first about his obsession with pink shoes, purple pocketbooks, and castles, but he seems to have grown out of that. He now enjoys wearing his Panther football gear, or karate chopping his sisters…good ole’ boy stuff! And he is quite the ladies man at school. He’s been going steady for 2 years now and I must say, he is a catch! He still loves to cuddle and he’ll come up out of nowhere and just pat me on the arm or back! And usually he plays right along with Halle and Gracie. They usually have him being some character they don’t want to be…go figure! His claim to fame is that he’s not a picky eater. He knows I love that about him….I brag on him at the dinner table all the time. If he says he doesn’t want something I’ll say “Cade that’s picky.” And, he’ll gobble it up. I love psychology!

The classic shot...Halle happy, Gracie NOT happy,

and Cade could care less!
